What Copinn is

Copinn helps you and your friends save places and decide where to go together. It is run by the Copinn team and reachable at hello@copinn.com.

What we store

  • Your account: name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the identifier Google gives us. Passwords are stored hashed.
  • The places you save, the lists you make, your taste profile, and the messages you exchange with friends and with Copinn inside the app.
  • If you link Telegram or Instagram, the identifier of that account so we can match messages you send there to your Copinn account, and the content of the messages you send to Copinn, such as a shared restaurant post.
  • Push notification subscriptions you turn on, and basic usage events so we can see which features work.

Who else sees data

  • Google Maps Platform and OpenStreetMap, to look up places and addresses. Place details fetched from Google are kept for at most 30 days.
  • AI providers that generate recommendations and read the messages you send to Copinn in order to answer them.
  • Our hosting and database providers, who store the data on our behalf.

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Deleting your data

Email hello@copinn.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and everything stored with it. Unlinking Telegram or Instagram removes the stored identifier for that service. If you remove Copinn from your Instagram or Facebook settings, we delete the Instagram identifier and messages we hold for you.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect.
